3 Kinds/Sources OF WISDOM
Are there those among you who are truly wise and understanding [insightful; discerning]? Then they should show it by living right [their good life/conduct/lifestyle] and doing good things [their deeds/works] with a gentleness that comes from wisdom. (James 3:13) EXB

Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing. (James 1:2-4) AMP
If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him. But he must ask [for wisdom] in faith, without doubting [God’s willingness to help], for the one who doubts is like a billowing surge of the sea that is blown about and tossed by the wind. For such a person ought not to think or expect that he will receive anything [at all] from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable and restless in all his ways [in everything he thinks, feels, or decides].(James 1:5-8) AMP
But the wisdom that comes from God [above; 3:15] is first of all pure, then peaceful [peace-loving], gentle [patient; considerate], and easy to please [or willing to yield; or open to reason]. This wisdom is always ready to help those who are troubled and to do good for others [full of mercy and good fruits]. It is always fair [impartial] and honest [sincere; unhypocritical]. - WISDOM of THE SOUL (SOULISH, from within Mankind)
- WISDOM of THE DEVIL (DEVILISH, from without, demonic & influenced by the enemy of our souls)

Now the Lord said to Moses, “See, I have called by name Bezalel, son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom and skill, in understanding and intelligence, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship, (Exodus 31:1-3)
The Spirit of the LORD, gives us WISDOM, UNDERSTANDING & INTELLIGENCE
Recall – Job 32:8
The SPIRIT OF GOD makes the difference:
And the Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him— The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The Spirit of counsel and strength, The Spirit of knowledge and of the [reverential and obedient] fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2)
The Spirit of the LORD helps us to have the reverential fear of the LORD
The SPIRIT OF GOD helps us to fear the LORD:
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of KNOWLEDGE, But fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Proverbs 1:7)
Thereof the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. (Proverbs 9:10)
“The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, and before honour is humility
(Proverbs 15:33)
The SPIRIT OF GOD makes the difference:
And to man He said, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, And to depart from evil is understanding.’ (Job 28:28)
The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil. (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14)

SIMPLY ASK FOR WISDOM FROM GOD

For Jews demand signs (attesting miracles), and Greeks pursue [worldly] wisdom and philosophy, but we preach Christ crucified, [a message which is] to Jews a stumbling block [that provokes their opposition], and to Gentiles foolishness [just utter nonsense], but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks (Gentiles), Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. 1 Corinthians 1:22-24
But it is from Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God [revealing His plan of salvation], and righteousness [making us acceptable to God], and sanctification [making us holy and setting us apart for God], and redemption [providing our ransom from the penalty for sin], 1 Corinthians 1:30
