Love Assembly is a Christian Church, welcoming to people from all nations. We consistently follow the Apostolic pattern of the ministry of Prayer and the Word.

We are a Parish under The Redeemed Church of God (RCCG), planted in the City of Liverpool in obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

It was a cold winter of 2nd of January 2003 when two men were praying in a living room in the city of Sheffield earnestly seeking the Lord and to specifically know His will regarding what to do in the city of Liverpool.

At this period, the City of Liverpool was in preparations to celebrate her winning the bid to become the European Capital of Culture in the year 2008. Liverpool was thus tagged as “The World In One City.

While praying there was the deep desire to also see the City of Liverpool transformed and rather become ‘European Capital of Christ’. A place where people of all nations would encounter and experience the Love of God.

These prayers were what transformed a home fellowship in Liverpool that began with a family of four: (two adults and two young children) to the prophetic “Love Assembly” with the Vision to grow into a Church congregation where people from all nations of “The World in one city” would find unity in the LOVE of God in one ASSEMBLY.

We support the advancement of the Christian faith;Christian counselling,education, care and support for people in practical ways – through spiritual, emotional, material, and financial. A resource centre to train people in ICT, arts and musical instruments. We organise work and enterprise support groups. Members volunteer to express their skills and talents to carry out the charity’s initiatives.
