- What is the source of UNDERSTANDING?
- Who gives UNDERSTANDING?
Understanding:
Proverbs 16: 22 Amplified Bible (AMP): Understanding (spiritual insight) is a [refreshing and boundless] wellspring of life to those who have it,
- To perceive
- To discern
- Intelligence
- Skill in an art or learning
1 Chronicles 12:32 Amplified Bible (AMP): Of the tribe of Issachar, men who understood the times, with knowledge of what Israel should do, two hundred chiefs; and all their relatives were at their command.
Men of Issachar:
Could perceive, discern, had intelligence and skill in the art of understanding the times and knew what everyone should do
They were like the ‘BRAIN-ENGINE’ that drove and gave everyone information and instruction of what to do at the time.
I HAVE UNDERSTANDING WHEN:
I can perceive, discern, have intelligence and skill in the art of understand to know what I and everyone should do.
Knowledge is useless if I don’t UNDERSTAND what I know.
People will not act WISELY if they don’t UNDERSTAND what they know.
UNDERSTANDING:
What is the source of all UNDERSTANDING? GOD
Proverbs 2:3-6 Amplified Bible (AMP): Yes, if you cry out for insight, and lift up your voice for understanding; If you seek skilful and godly wisdom as you would silver and search for her as you would hidden treasures; then you will understand the [reverent] fear of the Lord [that is, worshipping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome] and discover the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives [skilful and godly] wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.
